|
|
If you have been attending any of our Pilates Classes over the past couple of months, you may have noticed some of the ongoing construction down the hall. Pilates Flow embodies an essence of Joseph Pilates original mat repertoire in that it integrates fluid transitions between exercises. Like a dance you move seamlessly from one exercise to the next connecting breath with movement. This is an essential core workout! Great for first-timers but not necessarily a beginner or 'easy' class.

What is Osteofit?
Osteofit is a medically endorsed program created by the BC Women’s Hospital focusing on exercise, education, and falls prevention for those with osteoporosis, osteopenia, low bone density, or at increased risk for fractures and falls.
If you have co-existing injuries or pain, this exercise pathway would begin with Physiotherapy assessment and treatment by one of our highly qualified Physiotherapists. With referral, clients will then progress to our Clinical Osteofit Program held at the Gordon Head Recreation Center.
- Reduce risk of falls and fractures
- Improve balance, strength, and health knowledge
- Improve functional ability to do day-to-day activities
- Promote joy of activity and independence
