Join us Tuesday, March 20th at 6:30 pm for
A Celebration of Neighbors

Taking a look back on this past year, our proudest moment was fighting the County’s plan to close the David Schulz Aquatic Center in Lincoln Park… and winning!  On Tuesday, March 20th, we are going to celebrate our victory and honor those who helped win this fight.  Then we’ll look to the future and ask you “What’s Next”? We’ll top it all off with ice cream and cake.  We hope you’ll join the party, 6:30 at the Blatz Pavilion.

Annual Meeting:

Click to joinMarch 20th is also our annual meeting, so we’ll take 5 minutes out to introduce and elect our board for 2018. Please support our work and click Join Now to start or renew your membership

Mother’s Day Picnic and Paddle.  Bring your Mom.

On Mother’s Day, May 13th, we’ll join the Sierra Club for a Mother’s Day Picnic and Paddle. BYO picnic lunch at Noon and BYO-(bring your own boat) for a paddle at 1 pm. We hope high spring water will allow us to explore Lincoln Creek.
Occasionally we arrange for rental boats so stay tuned for that information. We list our Paddle events on www.MeetUp.com/ProjectPaddleMilwaukee so check there for updates and to RSVP. Maps and instruction are available but required PFD’s are your responsibility.

Spring Weed-outs, May 28th and June 16th

We all love Garlic Mustard.  We love to yank it out by its roots and watch the native wildflowers return. Our two scheduled Spring Weed-Out dates are:
Saturday, May 26th 9 am to noon.
Saturday, June 16th 9 am to noon.

Altogether it adds up to a lot of fun and excitement in the Park this Spring. Please come help us Celebrate!
