Click Here to donate and let's show Dennis and Coda some Birthday LOVE!

They've been training in Canines With a Cause veteran/service dog program and have become part of our organization 'family'. Dennis is incredibly kind and generous, he enjoys interacting with people and does amazing leatherwork.

He's the kind of fellow who is always looking for ways to help others, we are truly honored to have him in our program. Special thanks to Mae, Dennis' wife for your support too!
For my birthday this year, I'm asking for donations to Canines With A Cause Foundation. I've chosen this nonprofit because their mission means a lot to me, and I hope you'll consider contributing as a way to celebrate with me. Every little bit will help me reach my goal. There are so many reasons to donate to CWAC 1. they rescue dogs that are ready to be put down and they take them to the prison where female inmates do a basic training on them and when they are ready they are given to a Vet who needs a service dog. but it doesn't stop there now the Vet and the dog go to class once a week to learn the skills to walk with his handler (Vet) anywhere they would like to. This task saves 3 lives The dog the inmate and the Vet.
A couple of months ago I fell and fractured my back and was taken the the VA Hospital I wasn't sure what they would think of my dog (Coda) they wanted me to stay in the hospital for a few days and I really didn't want to. The Dr. saw my dog and said how about if I let your dog stay with you. I said okay for the next 5 days M dog stayed with me.
At home he sleeps with me in my bed. The doctors and nurses and aids fell in love with Coda and never gave them any trouble. he is a black lab and where ever I go he has to go with me. I have problems with PTSD and I did all of his training with the help of (CWAC) the only problem I had was that I would take him to restaurants with me for dinner he would lay down on the floor and with a dark floor and him being black people didn't see him so I had to put a piece of reflector tape on his harness and that did the trick.
