Support for you, the parents!
Here at Centennial ARP Church, we hold that the parents bear the primary responsibility for the discipleship of their children (Prov 1:8, Psalms 78:1-8, Ephesians 6:4 and most clearly Deuteronomy 6:7).
We also believe that you weren't meant to bear that burden alone. Parents, you are a part of a covenant family. Recently, that was publicly expressed and shown as some of our precious children went through communicants' class and publicly professed their faith as they joined the church. What all of us at Centennial Church acknowledged yet again is that we are willing to help and support you as you raise and disciple your children. Folks, that is a beautiful reality of the Spirit's workings in the local church! What an encouragement for you as a parent! You are not alone!
On top of that! you've got me! I am here to support you, encourage you, share with you, and minister to you as you and your children navigate your way through this journey. I want you to see that clearly! I am here for you. Do you have questions? Need prayer? Need advice? I'm here. I may not have the answers to your questions right then and there, but I can promise you this, I will seek ways to best answer your questions. I will point you in the direction of people, books, articles and wherever that may have better answers than I can give you.
