Happy Birthday to Mike's Celery Roots

A couple weeks ago Village Market local organic farmer Mike Lanigan was joking about a dog breeder he knew who kept track of the birthdays of all her dogs' puppies. And here was Mike making a big deal about his celery root being one year old -- because he was about to start some seed for this year's crop and he was still selling the celery root he had harvested from last year, at this winter's Village Market. So happy birthday to Mike's celery roots!

Live Music with Cameron Birnie, March 17th

Cameron Birnie (photo above) returns to the Village Market stage this Saturday March 17th. Join in and sing along, or just sit back and enjoy the music. Photo from Cameron's performance at the Market in February 2018.

Huron Sun, Anup, Rose, Alexi, Deb & Jeanne

Jeanne Inamuco (chair massage) has been away for a few months now, and the latest update is that she'll be away a few more weeks while her hand continues to heal. Birgitta Adrian-Morley (soaps etc.) who was to have been here last week, will come next Saturday March 24th instead.

Deb Pedler (hand-made organic chocolates for Easter) will be back at the Market again this Saturday and every Saturday between now and Easter.

Roman Plawiuk of Huron Sun (organic sunflower oil) will be back at the Village Market this Saturday March 17th.

Ditto for Anup Ruparella of Affinity Capital. Do you know what your money is doing? Thanks to Rose of Wholesome Generation ayurvedics for introducing Anup to the Village Market. Rose will also be at the Market March 17th.

Alexi Bracey (mostly-organic treats) will be back again at the Market this Saturday.
