I did a quick video giving my opinion on which is the best suspension to be using on your daily driver, coilovers or lowering springs.
My opinion is based on the roads in my area which are not great. If the roads near you are super smooth it is no so obvious which is best.
With regards to the power of the car ie if that makes a difference. In my opinion it does absolutely. For a road car, the more power the bigger the benefit of having lowering springs over coilovers.
Again, I say this from the point of view of driving on roads that are not perfect.
