GOSHA news

Our thanks to

Darren Dupré, Air Traffic Control Watch Manager, Ports of Jersey for delivering a really good presentation on the use of small unmanned aerial devices (drones) in the Channel Islands. If you use drones, are thinking of using drones or intend to use them, be aware of safety concerns, respect local applicable law and undertake one of the safe use courses run in the Channel Islands. We were very pleased to welcome Mike Burton, President of the Guernsey Model Flying Club who added useful local information, especially concerning the Club. They offer bespoke insurance for social, domestic flying with their membership. Commercial users (anyone who use a drone for personal gain) need to arrange insurance which is bespoke to the intended usage.
