Greetings from the Window To Luxury team! We are featuring three lovely properties in this month's newsletter.

Located on Havelock Island in the Andaman Islands, The Barefoot at Havelock is the perfect destination for honeymooners. The resort is within walking distance of Radhanagar Beach, a stunning white sand beach backed by lush rainforest. The resort comprises a range of elegantly designed thatched tents, cottages and villas, all built with environmentally sensitive indigenous materials.

The Singinawa Jungle Lodge has 12 cottages and two bungalows. One bungalow has four bedrooms, while the other has two bedrooms. Therefore, there are a total of 18 living units in the lodge. Considering that that the lodge is 110 acres, it is incredibly spacious and guests are given the perfect location to relax. Each of the living units are completely furnished with state-of-the-art facilities.

The Riverwood Forest Retreats Dooars is a luxurious doorway to the beautiful region of Dooar, pronounced as “Dwar”. The beautiful Sankosh River divides the region into Western and Eastern Dooars, each area having its own unique facets. It is home to an abundance of flora and fauna such as Sal dance forests, a large number of tea gardens and more.

The image of India as a tourism destination jumped 12 places to 40th rank globally in travel and tourism competitiveness list by World Economic Forum. Hotels look at 2018 as a positive year for growth. This year will also witness a growth in millennial travel which will boost the demand for hotels.

According to the latest available statistics from the Ministry of Tourism India, the Foreign Tourist Arrivals (FTAs) during the January - October 2017 were 7.9 million with a growth of 15.8 per cent over same period of the previous year. This growth trend is much higher than global average growth which stands at 4 -5 per cent.
