1st of March 2018 marked a year since our team at Common Ground, the largest coworking space in Malaysia, opened their doors to the public. I'm incredibly proud of the team who, in the short span of a year, have launched four coworking spaces across Kuala Lumpur in Damansara Heights, Mont Kiara, TTDI and Bukit Bintang with ~80,000 sq ft. The coworking space industry is a thriving one, and I'm glad that Common Ground is at the forefront of offering businesses a vibrant and flexible environment to collaborate, with a goal to conclude the year with ~300,000 sq ft.
February was an eventful month for us, where we released our first ever report on the tech scene in Southeast Asia. On top of that, iCar and Frontier Digital Ventures released their 2017 full year financial reports, announcing significant revenue jumps. iflix also unveiled its partnerships with Telenor, Safaricom and GMM Z to bring the experience to more consumers in Myanmar, Kenya and Thailand respectively.
