Posted by Keturah Hetrick on March 12, 2018 A diabetes-focused pharmaceutical company has snagged an aide who served as chief of staff for the entirety of ex-Rep. Renee Ellmers' (R-N.C.) tenure. Al Lytton now works as associate director of federal government affairs at Novo Nordisk, a multinational company based in Denmark. Lytton had worked as Ellmers' right hand from her 2011 inauguration until 2017, when she lost reelection to fellow Republican Rep. George Holding. Lytton is already lobbying for the pharmaceutical company, focusing on "prevention, treatment and Medicare coverage of diabetes, obesity and chronic-disease support," according to a recent disclosure form.
