Membership passes 100

The Energy Efficiency Association continues to grow and endeavours to build confidence in the energy efficiency sector in the UK.

Since our last newsletter we have passed the 100 members mark and now have members in every region and in every section of the industry. From installers to manufacturers, big national utility companies to small independent consultants, and from local councils to private finance.

This increasing membership is allowing us to do more for our members. (see below for examples of what we have been up to) but we need to continue that growth and we need to ensure we are engaged in things that make a difference so if you can help us or want to discuss changes you want to see in the sector please email info@energyefficiencyassociation.co.uk

Association helps find energy efficiency assessor for TV Show

Energy Efficiency Association is please to have been able to help Yorkshire Television find an Energy Efficiency Assessor that could take part in a new show they are producing.

The producers approached the Energy Efficiency Association with a request for help to find an award winning energy assessor in Yorkshire who would be willing to appear in their new show.

We were only to happy to assist and are pleased we could recommend one of our Yorkshire regional members, who was also the winner of multiple Regional Energy Efficiency Awards and a runner up in the National Energy Efficiency Awards 2017, Jamie Robson of JR Carbon Consulting & JNR Contracting.

We wish Jamie all the best and hope that his TV appearances help raise awareness of Energy Efficiency in Yorkshire.

Association speaking to Local Energy Officers

Gary Braybrooke, CEO of the Energy Efficiency Association was given the chance to present the Energy Efficiency Association and the work that we do, at the Yorkshire regional meeting of the Association of Local Energy Officers.

This was a productive meeting form the Association point of view and one we hope will lead to a positive working relationship with Energy Officers from councils all around the country.

Gary has already been invited to talk at ALEO meetings in the South West, North East and East of England regions.

If any members have any questions they would like Gary to get answers for at these meetings, or at any other meetings we have lined up, please  drop him an email. gary@energyefficiencyassociation.co.uk
