Il 14 marzo celebriamo il 175° anniversario della nascita del nostro fondatore, p. Léon Dehon. In questa occasione ricordiamo un suo intervento durante la riunione sacerdotale nel 1900 a Bourges. Si tratta di un esame particolare guidato da Dehon. Trasmette in una pagina preoccupazioni, interrogazioni e convinzioni che possono essere fecondi ancora oggi. La politica economica della Congregazione
Attualmente a Roma si sta svolgendo il corso per gli economi - attuali e futuri - della Congregazione. A questo gruppo il vicedirettore del Centro Studi Dehoniani, P. Juan José Arnaiz Ecker, ha presentato la sua “Ricerca sulla politica economica della Congregazione SCJ (1925-2015)”. Attraverso i dati e soprattutto i testi fondamentali e di governo della Congregazione cerca di identificare nei diversi periodi successivi alla morte del fondatore una politica nell’amministrazione dei beni dell’Istituto e propone il profilo etico della figura dell’economo scj. Segnaliamo alcuni documenti pubblicati nel sito www.dehondocsoriginals.org. Oltre i due volumi di “La vie intérieure”, ora è possibile leggere online il “Thesaurus”, il libro di preghiere della Congregazione, nell’edizione del 1891. Anche l’opera “Etudes sur le Sacré-Coeur de Jésus” è stata completata con la pubblicazione del secondo volume. Il sito www.dehondocsinternational.org, dedicato alla pubblicazione delle traduzioni delle opere di p. Dehon in diverse lingue, ha cambiato look, e non solo. Soprattutto è stata implementata una nuova tecnica che permette la visualizzazione delle pagine anche in zone dove non si dispone di una velocità di connessione internet particolarmente elevata.

Novità dall'America Latina
Dal 29 gennaio al 2 febbraio si è svolta la prima settimana di studi dehoniani dell’America Latina a Pindamonhangaba (São Paulo/Brasile). Tale raduno è stato preparato e guidato principalmente dalla Commissione Teologica Dehoniana Continentale dell’America Latina. Per avere un’idea del contenuto e della dinamica dell’incontro pubblichiamo la “Carta Compromiso” dei partecipanti in spagnolo e portoghese. Inoltre è accessibile anche il verbale del raduno presenziale della CTDC-AL nel mese di gennaio.

The anniversary of the founder
On March 14th we celebrate the 175th anniversary of the birth of our founder, Fr. Léon Dehon. On this occasion we recall an intervention during a conference of priests in 1900 in Bourges. The text is a “particular examination” led by Dehon. It transmits, in one page, concerns, questions and convictions that can still be a source of scrutiny for us today. Let’s keep alive the effort to study the founder always as a source of inspiration for our being religious as Dehonians. The economic policy of the Congregation
Currently in Rome, the general government is organizing a course for the actual and future treasurers of the Congregation. To this group the Vice-Director of the Dehon Study Center, Fr. Juan José Arnaiz Ecker, presented his "Research on the economic policy of the Congregation (1925-2015)". Going through the fundamental and governing texts of the Congregation, Fr. Arnaiz Ecker tries to identify, in various periods after the death of the founder, a policy in the administration of the Institute's assets and proposes the ethical profile of the figure of an SCJ treasurer. We’d like to call your attention to some documents recently published on the website www.dehondocsoriginals.org. Beyond the two volumes of "La vie intérieure" it is now possible to read online the Thesaurus, the prayer book of the Congregation, 1891 edition. Also, the work "Etudes sur le Sacré-Coeur de Jésus" was completed with the publication of the second volume. The website www.dehondocsinternational.org, dedicated to the translations of the works of Fr. Dehon in different languages, has changed its look even more so. Above all, a new technique has been implemented that allows the display of pages even in areas where there is no high speed internet connection.

News from Latin America
From January 29 to February 2, the first-ever week of Dehonian studies of Latin America took place in Pindamonhangaba (Sao Paulo / Brazil). This gathering was prepared and led mainly by the Continental Dehonian Theological Commission of Latin America. To get an idea of the content and the dynamics of the meeting, we publish the "Letter of Engagement” of the participants; it is in Spanish and Portuguese. In addition, we make available the minutes of the CTDC-AL executive meeting in January.
