Canvas believes in the power of technology to transform the way we build. It is our mission to improve the quality and affordability of the places where we live, work, sleep, and play, while simultaneously improving the working conditions of the people who build these spaces. We are creating a new class of machine for construction that empowers the current workforce to be dramatically more productive and free from repetitive, physically taxing and dangerous tasks. 

Here is an overview of the roles Canvas is hiring for:

• Perception and Planning Engineer: Take the lead over the computer vision and planning platform that allows our robots to effectively interact with the construction environment.
• Machine Vision/Machine Learning Engineer: Own how our systems interpret the world around them. Write the algorithms that identify parts of the environment and determine how raw sensor data is converted into usable data structures.
• Visualization and UI Engineer: Champion how workers use the next generation of construction tools. Create the user interface and 3D visualizations through which workers will control the tool. 
• Finance and Operations Manager: Take charge of the finance and administrative aspects of Canvas’ business. 
• Senior Construction Manager: Construction industry veteran who will shape how this new type of machine interfaces with the construction world. This includes everything from hiring and managing a field operations team to providing high-level input into the product and company direction.
