Classic White...
Classic white kitchen cabinetry is at the very top of the trends, with no sign of letting up. These tips will allow you to personalize your white kitchen design, and keep the look fresh for years to come.

Off White is the New White;

Consider a variation from plain vanilla. Kitchen cabinetry in off white can set your kitchen apart. You may even opt for antique glazed or distressed cabinetry for a time-worn look!

Give Stainless Steel the Heave-Ho;

For years, designers have been waiting for the next great appliance color. These black-stainless appliances are a dramatic contrast to beautiful white shaker-style cabinetry.

Wood Flooring;

Wood flooring with white cabinetry creates a comfortable, homey setting, but wood isn't the most durable product for a wet environment like a kitchen. Seek out ceramic tile planks that have the appearance of natural wood. For a less formal appearance, try a weathered wood tile.

Alternate Island Motif;

Contrasting islands anchor the open space and creates a variety in the kitchen. For an eclectic look, employ a more exotic wood like rustic alder, hickory or lyptus.

More durable than marble:

In classic white kitchen design, marble has for years been the standard. The drawback to marble, like any limestone, it is extremely porous and can stain and lose its luster. Marble analogs, like this Brittanica from Cambria is engineered quartz, 100% non-porous and warranted not to stain. Bonus: non-porous tops like these aren't a haven for bacteria!
