Re-invigorating the Community Committee

Interested members of the community are invited to attend a gathering to discuss options for the Smiths Road Community Committee. Come and have your say.

Smiths Road Community Hall and Fire Shed on Tuesday, 13 March 6:30pm for a one hour discussion. BBQ available (BYO food and drink) from 6pm. Discussion from 6:30pm with the aim of no more than one hour (to keep things focussed).

Comments and RSVPs can be posted on the community Facebook Group for those with access. But please come regardless and take advantage of this chance to have your say.

Draft Community Strategic Plan

The community is being encouraged to provide feedback on the draft Snowy Monaro 2040 Community Strategic Plan (CSP).

Following its February meeting last Thursday, Snowy Monaro Regional Council has placed this important document on public exhibition for the next month.

The draft Snowy Monaro 2040 CSP outlines the community’s 20-year vision for the region.

Developed through extensive community consultation, the draft Snowy Monaro 2040 CSP can be viewed online through Council’s Your Say Snowy Monaro platform, link below, at all Council offices, libraries and a number of select locations.

Feedback can be provided until Sunday 25 March, and residents are being encouraged to have their say on this important, aspirational document.
