A new research study

Would you like to help inform future community services for people and pets? Read on to find out how to help!

20 minutes of your time could make a big difference

Project director Kimberley Richards is currently doing her MA thesis on how pets effect the everyday lives of those experiencing poverty and/or precocity. This research will help not only Second Hope Circle's community programs, but also community service agencies across Ontario.

Want to get involved?

-> Do you live in Ontario?
-> Have you had pets (or currently have pets) while experiencing poverty or precarity*?
*Precarity includes things like homelessness, loss of job/housing, domestic violence, loss of significant relationship - all of which usually causes financial distress

If yes you can fill out a survey that takes 15-20 minutes to complete. The results will be incredibly helpful in creating better programs and services to offer support during difficult times and help keep people and pets together.
