In this month's edition we have news give a wrap up on last month’s “Beer O’Clock” event, introduce you to some new traders and a committee member, let you know about upcoming networking events, plus some Council and Footscray community stuff that’s relevant to us that trade, shop and live in Footscray!

Beer O'Clock

Our first Beer O’Clock for 2018 was held on the LAST THURSDAY (yes it's changed!) of February at at Bar Josephine's, 295 Barkly Street, Footscray. Here's picture!

All local traders and friends (whether members or not) are invited to Beer O'Clock - our regular, informal, networking events held on the last Thursday (in 2018) of every month. Paid up FTA Members get their first drink free!

The next Beer O’Clock is at Pride of Footscray Community Bar, Level 1 86-88 Hopkins Street, Footscray - see Facebook page events for details and to let us know you're coming!

Liana Lucca-Pope specialises in branding and communication design under the name of Hello Idea. Liana is also founder and facilitator of the Idea Collective, a co-working creative space founded in Footscray in 2013, which houses Hello Idea as well as a number of other like-minded businesses.

This is the place for delicious Ethiopian food in Footscray!
The Les Twentyman Foundation programs and services cover education-support, sports and recreation, counselling, personal development, life–experiences and employment pathways. Young people in Victoria are facing increasing hardship that ultimately leads to behavioral problems. The pressure placed on a young person living in a low socio-economic area is not well understood by the general population.

Beer O’Clock local traders networking get-togethers are to be held on the LAST WEDNESDAY of each month at a local trader venue from 6pm.

Footscray Focus

Footscray a great place to trade, shop and live' - Film coming soon!

Footscray Traders has commissioned local film makers Farmwalker Films to create a short promo film that will engage people to come to Footscray to trade, shop and live.

The film is aimed to break any stigmas that may still exist, to highlight the best parts of Footscray and showcase it's many sides.
