The confident, beautiful and charismatic Lisanne Lazarus is flying the Durban University of Technology (DUT) flag high as one of the contestants on the new season of the Tropika Island Of Treasure-Season 8, currently airing on SABC 3.

TOP ACCOLADE FOR DUT STUDENT AT FURNITURE DESIGN COMPETITION AWARDS
Durban University of Technology’s Interior Design student, Lwazi Mshibe’s perseverance paid off, following his announcement as the winner of the Department of Trade and Industry’s (dti) Furniture Design Competition Awards in the Student Category, during the awards ceremony held at the Ticketpro Dome in Johannesburg recently.
Mshibe entered the competition last year but unfortunately, his project failed to impress the judges.

She was speaking during a Public Lecture hosted by the Durban University of Technology (DUT) in partnership with the Pan South African Language Board (PanSALB), on 15 February 2018 at DUT City Campus, Arthur Smith Hall.
