Hello <<First Name>>,

On this beautiful Colorado bluebird day, spring feels near. We're preparing for many upcoming teacher/educator and youth opportunities. Wild Rose Education is also onboarding new clients for environmental education and community engagement coaching.

The 2018 Healthy Rivers Youth Water Summit planning is underway with meetings with local teachers and as applications come in for the the steering committee, college internship, and capstone projects. If you're interested in joining the steering committee, let me know soon.

Watershed and river organizations seeking to strengthen their education and outreach are working with us as we now offer EE coaching and strategy advising. Let us know if your organization may be interested in establishing an advising relationship.

Watch the video below to learn about this summer's Western Rivers Teacher Workshops. Also learn about the Lens on Climate Change filmmaking program and a class at ACES too.

As a leader in environmental education I am now the CAEE Board President, have presented at state and regional conferences, published in a national publication, attended national leadership institutes,  and am currently waiting to hear about acceptance into a national EE fellowship program.

There is so much strong exciting momentum with Wild Rose Education thanks to so many strong relationships with talented colleagues and partners. Be in touch to explore how we may be able to work together in the coming months.

Take care,
Sarah R. Johnson, MAEd

Adventure Scientists
BEETLES Project at Work in Aspen
After participating in the Lawrence Hall of Science BEETLES Project Leadership Institute in December 2017, I'm putting new student activities to work with 9-12 year olds this summer at ACES. Kids are invited to go on an engaging outdoor exploratory science adventure immersed in the natural world of  meadows, aspen groves, mountain streams, and spruce-fir forests as our laboratories. We'll become stream detectives, go on a decomposition mission, participate in a discovery swap and cool organism convention, nature scene investigation, and conduct student directed exploratory investigation.
