Week 4 Check In!!

Whoo hoo!! If you have been quilting along for the whole challenge, you should have 6 blocks quilted...which means that we are practically halfway done with the quilt! If you aren't caught up, don't worry. This isn't a race, take your time and quilt at your own pace!

If you want to get comfortable with drawing the design, here are a couple of printable PDFs to help you out!
Follow along with my sketches to get comfortable with filling in a whole area with the leafy meander.
Three ways to change direction when quilting the leafy meander. These are the diagrams that I included in the Week 4 email, but now you can print them off and draw over them. Soon you will be switching directions with no problem!

There have been a lot of questions about the machines that I use! In the Free-motion Challenge Quilting Along I am using my HQ Stitch 710 which I LOVE. When longarming, I have a Handi Quilter Avante, my pride and joy.

I am not only a proud owner, I am also a Handi Quilter dealer. If you have been thinking about getting a machine, Handi Quilter is having a heck of a sale!
If you have any questions, just send an email to jeremywaltersquilting@gmail.com. My amazing husband can give you any details that you need!
