April VacationPlay Dates: Sign up for Spring Break play dates, held Tuesday, April 3 to Friday, April 6 from 8am-6pm. The schedule includes theater games with the New Conservatory Theater, a field trip to the Roxie Theater for a private film viewing (TBD), Tree Frog Treks, and "Renegade Kids," a STEM tinkering club. SFFS Giants Night isFriday, May 18th! Tickets are $27 and can be purchased by filling out this form online or by printing and submitting this paper form to the front desk. Book Swap and Community Day: Start your spring cleaning now!For the week of March 26 and April 9, donate your gently used books! The book drive will culminate in a Community Day on Saturday, April 14, from 10am-1pm at SFFS. There will also be a 3rd grade swimming goggle drive to benefit Horizons, a 6th grade e-waste drive, refreshments on sale to benefit Horizons, a crafts table, balloon animal maker, live music, and more!
Eating Disorder Discussion April 17: Assistant Clinical Professor at UCSF Lindsey Bruett, Ph.D, will speak about student eating disorders to spread awareness about the warning signs, and how to help our children support a friend who might be experiencing an eating disorder. The discussion will take place from 6-7pm in the Meeting Room. Please RSVP to Katherine Preston if you plan to attend and add any specific questions you'd like addressed.
Grades 5 & 6 Book Club: on April 18 from 6:30-8:00pm we will be reading The Girl Who Drank the Moon by Kelly Barnhill. You can find this book online or in the library. Even if you haven't finished reading, we welcome your family to join us for a lively discussion. Please RSVP to Jason Stone.
