Dear <<First Name>>
On the water this weekend

With only 3 sailing weekends to go before Closing Day on April 7, this weekend sees the:
  • 12s - Talk is Cheap Trophy
  • Cherubs - The Mother of All Crew's Trophy
  • Flying 11s - Tezza's Three Sheet Trophy
  • Lasers - The Moran Family Trophy
  • Sabots - The Costin Trophy

This weekend Lane Cove to host Southern Zone Championships

Our Sabot team will be co-ordinating a great weekend of sailing as hosts of this event.  This is a fantastic opportunity for our junior sailors and their parents who have put so much into this season to race on their own 'race-track'.

We are looking for volunteer support in a range of areas over the weekend.  If you have some time to spare on either day and can help please email the Sabot Class Secretary Mark

RIGGING
It is requested that no boats other than the Sabots are to rig in area between the Club and Western Shed until after 1pm or until all Sabots are out on the water please

Start Powerboating / Powerboat Handling

Over the last two weekends we have had a number of junior sailors, their parents and some friends of the club out on the water looking to attain their boat licence.  Under our Discover Sailing Centre banner we offer the Australian Sailing Start Powerboating / Powerboat Handling course and those that complete the course successfully are able to take their certificates to RMS for their boat licence application.

Big thank you to our volunteers that assisted with the course Alan Clarke, Paul Coates, Andrew Glassock, Karyn Gojnich, Rolf Lunsman, Ian Meggitt and Jack Winning.

If you would like to attend a future course please let us know and send an email to training@lc12ftssc.org.au
