Hello <<First name>>

Lucky number seven. A favourite with the bingo callers amongst you (there's only one that I know of, but you never know). Well, it's been a little while, but here's hoping Easter treated you well. Apologies straight away to all of you who did hit reply but I only just received those emails (thank you!) I asked my tech support what happened but it involved mumbles about forwarding addresses and something something something, but as long as you know it wasn't out of rudeness. Right, as always there's loads to tell you about so let's get stuck in. If there's anything you'd like to see here, please do let me know. Don't be shy, hit reply (makes me feel popular - and now I WILL get the replies).

Photography Workshop this Wednesday

As promised by the team at i-d Image Development, they will be hosting a free photography workshop. This is where you'll be able to bring along whatever device you use to take your photos, and they'll give you hints, tips and show you techniques to help you take a better shot. It's on Wednesday 25 April 6-7.15pm and you will need to contact them directly to book your place (near Waitrose). This particular course is for 15+ but keep an eye out for future events.

Artists to exhibition space at K+M specs

The lovely Kieran opened up his handmade specs and sunglasses shop on the Market Square only a few months ago and has been in touch to offer out some space in his premises to anyone who is looking to either exhibit or sell some handmade art work. He started out working for himself and knows just how difficult it can be and is keen to hear from any local artists to come and have a chat. Drop in and say hi or email him.

Five questions for creatives: Anna Kreeger

We've had the latest five questions for creatives - this time with designer Anna Kreeger. If you'd like to take part but you just haven't been asked yet ('we' can be a bit forgetful) just reply to this email and let me know.

Learn

Having the 'A' for Arts put into STEM (Science Technology Engineering Maths) is great news and means more creative opportunities for our youth. Luckily there are local scientists and engineers who are keen to share some of their knowledge this Saturday at St Neots Library Family Science Day from 10am-2pm. After seeing Winnie doing her stuff at the Fun Palace in October, I can tell you that it is one not to miss. There will be mention of fatbergs and who knows what else so go along with the family. While you're there, there is also a session to try out and even borrow a micro:bit.

Get involved with our workshops and events

I've been stopped a few times by some of you lovely lot, which I love. It may take me a few minutes to figure out where we met, who you are, who I am, what day it is, are those my feet, etc... but don't let that put you off! A lot of you tell me how much they've enjoyed coming along to one of our drop-in workshops, to ask are we going to be doing the Big Draw this year, and to mainly ask when the next event will be. Well, believe it or not, this is all done voluntarily.

So as much as we'd love to host more events, this means having the people who are keen to share their awesome skills. And that could be you (of course it could, you're reading this aren't you?) So don't be shy. If there's anything you want to see happening in St Neots, get in touch. Maybe together, with our growing collective, we can make it happen! Easiest way is to hit reply.
