Why Small Businesses Need Video to Compete and Succeed

March 19, 2018

Lakewood Business Brainiac
Congrats to LaDawn Sperling with Coldwell Banker who was the winner of last week’s trivia question. Mayor Paul plans to focus on eliminating child hunger in Lakewood, as part of his goals for the year as stated in his State of the City speech.

The City of Lakewood has an online customer service system for residents to ask questions and log concerns. What is this system called?

To answer, please reply to this email. If you have won in the past year, please give other businesses the opportunity to win.

What Will You Leave Behind?
Did you know that if every Lakewood resident recycled just one glass bottle, it would have the same benefits to our air as planting 234 trees grown for 10 years? Recycling helps preserve Lakewood’s beautiful parks and open spaces for the next generation by reducing the pollution and greenhouse gas emissions that come from landfills. What will we leave behind? Lakewood has responded to that question by launching an educational initiative focused on recycling. For more information and recycling resources, visit Lakewood.org/WeRecycle.

Alameda Corridor Mural Program
Does your business along Alameda want a colorful artistic mural to draw more customers? The Alameda Corridor Business Improvement District can help. Its Corridor Murals Program can assist with selection of the artist and location for the mural and contribute to the cost. The district can also work with the business and the artist and provide graffiti cleanup if the mural is tagged. For more information, contact Tom Quinn, Alameda Gateway executive director, at 303-987-274-1807 or tom@alamedagateway.com.
