In like a lion, out like a lion cub. Happy spring everyone, and happy snow day to Baltimore friends! I'm excited to share I have a last minute solo show Markmaking opening at movement space AsanaRoots, down the street from the Charles Theater in Baltimore. It's a BEAUTIFUL space. I can't wait to share my drawings and collage somewhere viewers will already be thinking about their bodies and our nature as physical beings with boundaries and boundless energy.
During the opening, I'll be working on a collaborative collage using imagery of found marks from the AsanaRoots space. Visitors are invited to observe and participate in the process! AsanaRoots is located at 1707 N. Charles Street on the Second Floor. The opening is on Friday, April 6th at 7:30. You can check out the facebook event here.
