This Week's Promise to Share

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

1 Corinthians 13:4-7, NIV

#GYD2018: A Day To Be "The Sermon"

Fifty youth from North Cascade and Mount Vernon SDA Churches participated in Global Youth Day. The youth learned to be the hands and feet of Jesus as they spent time putting packages of basic necessities together and passing them out to the homeless in the community.

Mount Vernon SDA Church houses about 20 homeless individuals every night, setting up their gym as a local shelter. Youth were able to help with setting up the gym for the night and serving dinner.
