From the AZC Board

Nurture the Third Great Treasure

The AZC sangha is a community of friends practicing the dharma together. A sangha is not a community of practice in which each person practices in isolation. Sangha arises when we practice being in relationship together with all beings. A true sangha is an extended dharma family in which we work together in a spirit of sisterhood and brotherhood.
The sangha’s efforts build upon previous efforts. In this way we have been able to maintain the buildings and establish a wonderful library. Now we are in need of members to 1) help maintain and grow the sangha's library, and 2) help with housekeeping.  Sangha member, Virginia Seiser, has overseen and managed the library for many years and will provide all necessary training.  The primary criteria for the librarian-in-training are an intention to remain in Albuquerque, an interest in learning, and an attention to detail. Hours and training time are flexible.  For housekeeping, one of our long-term members who did a significant amount of housekeeping duties, moved to Oregon.  Thus, we need members to step up and help clean the zendo and the meeting room.

No experience is required for the library or housekeeping duties, just enthusiasm to further one's practice in the Third Great Treasure, the Sangha!

If you are interested in either of these opportunities, please contact the center at officeazc@gmail.com or 505 268-4877. Gassho
AZC is funded entirely by the donations of our sangha members
and the support of those who strive, as we do,
to help others see their worlds a bit more clearly.
We welcome your support.
Gassho.
