Thank you, Easter Bunny!

We have leg of lamb from Valley Brook Farm and hams from Prospect Farm for Easter!  Hop on in and get yours today.  And while you're at it, be sure to pick up a dozen or two of eggs from Take Two Farm, Harmony Mountain Eco-Farm, Creampoke Sally or Valley Brook Farm for dying and hiding. Speaking of dying eggs, have you ever used natural ingredients such as blueberries, onion skins or beets? Click HERE for a great resource for doing just that!  (Pssst....we still have beets and onions in the Root Seller from Meadowstone Farm and blueberries from Twin Pine Farm).

One of my favorite Easter memories from when I was a little girl was the time when my parents (I mean, the Easter Bunny) decided to hide the eggs outside the night before. Unfortunately, the Easter Raccoon got wind of this, and my sisters and I were left finding colorful piles of shells scattered throughout our yard the next morning.
Lamb Sale!!

From now until Easter (April 1st), Valley Brook Farm has ALL of their lamb products on SALE for 10% OFF! Leg of lamb, ground lamb, rack rib chops, loin chops, stew meat, and shanks.  Get yours today!

In the store just this week are beautiful cards, postcards, notebooks, and magnets from Michelle Wallace, owner of Nature Mandala Art. Michelle is an herbalist, gardener, and artist who lives in Plainfield, Vermont. I fell in love with her nature mandala creations on Instagram and we connected. Michelle creates each one while on walks exploring the fields and forest of her home, takes a photograph, and then the mandala is cast to the wind.

"Mandala, a Sanskrit word for circle, is a spiritual symbol that traditionally has been used to help focus attention and as an aid to meditation. For me, this impermanent art is a meditation on really noticing the plants throughout the seasons, their exquisite details,  and symmetry." - Michelle Wallace

We have yummy gelato from Gelato Fiasco of Brunswick, Maine in the freezer! A few months prior to my husband and I getting married, Kyle enjoyed a round-the-world trip. We met up in Europe and spent two weeks in Italy enjoying a yummy gelato in the afternoon after a hike and then again after dinner.  Of course, it's hard to compare Gelato Fiasco with what we had in Italy because that was served in a medieval village in the Mediterranean sun...but Gelato Fiasco tastes pretty darn close.

Jolly Beans are back for the season in our bulk section - a vegan variety of the traditional jelly bean that uses organic black carrot juice concentrate, organic turmeric, and organic annatto for coloring.
