DISCUSSION: WHAT INSPIRES YOU?
by Gabriel, FCP National Co-Director & Director of Create, Minister, Teach!
We are so blessed to each be uniquely gifted by our Lord and Creator. I am always so inspired by the different ways I hear of Christians using their talents around the world and our Facebook Group members surprise us daily with their stories:
  • Debbie Todd and Phyllis Matson are in Washington state use their programs to teach Bible stories, character, and practical skills like money management.
  • Adventure Land Puppet Ministry in Illinois participates in Children's Ministry Day and teach kids to get involved in ministry by taking them to nursing homes, teaching puppetry basics, and performing for the residents.
  • Darren Collins lives in Kenya and teaches health and HIV/AIDs education with a team of 9 puppeteers.
"Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms." 1 Peter 4:10

What are some of unique ways you've used your gifts? What inspired your ministry?

AROUND THE WORLD: PUPPET MINISTRY IN GUATEMALA
by Pedro Bocel, Ministerio Bosques AMEN.
I have been ministering in Guatemala for nearly 40 years using puppetry, drama, clowning and other tools.
One of my earliest ministry opportunities was working with the Linguistic Institute to translate the New Testament into my indigenous language, Kaqchikel.
Our ministry is dedicated to teaching people about God’s plans in schools, jails, hospitals, parks, and police stations.
In 2018, we plan to continue our outreach through radio programs and conferences to spread the Gospel throughout our communities.
Please pray for us and our ministry. My son and I sell ice cream and my wife cuts hair. We don’t earn much but God has been using these funds to sustain our ministry. We are praying for a car, ministry support, and to partner with a mission. God bless you!
RESOURCE & VIDEO SPOTLIGHT
Need material for your next missions trip? Our Facebook group agrees that "Beyond Words" by Creative Ministry Solutions is an excellent resource! These non-verbal skits break down language barrier and use puppetry and props in a unique way to present God's truths. Learn more.
Hand Mime is a technique where presenters use white-gloved hands under blacklight to create images and words. See Create, Minister, Teach! and a team of volunteers in Nicaragua as they present the Spanish-language version of "Indescribable" in a rural village. Watch the video.
