When I was a younger Christian, I can remember wrestling with a lot of guilt over not "sharing my faith" more.  I wanted to see other people come to know the saving power of Jesus, but I often missed opportunities because of my fear. 

Then I started listening to Pastor Rick Warren, who would later become my pastor. He said something that changed my perspective recently... We put too much emphasis on sharing our faith, when the Bible never actually uses those words. 

Here's what the Bible does say...

Honor Christ and let him be the Lord of your life. Always be ready to give an answer when someone asks you about your hope. - 1 Peter 3:15 CEV

So here's a new challenge... SHARE YOUR HOPE!

The world is desperately in need of hope, and politicians can't really provide it - at least not an eternally satisfying, life-changing, world-shaping kind of hope. 

But YOU can! 

And it's never been easier, thanks to the technology we have available today. Just as the church, in previous generations, utilized the printing press to publish Bibles and radio and television to share the gospel over the airwaves, you and I get to do ONE, SIMPLE THING to let our friends, family, and neighbors know about our hope...

HOW TO HELP ON EASTER SUNDAY

This Sunday, we will host one of the largest crowds we've ever seen, and many people will be visiting Grace Hills for the first time. Some of them may even be hearing about the gospel of Jesus for the first time. So we need "all hands on deck" to be the best hosts we can be!

Here are several ways YOU can help this Sunday...

• PARK in one of the lots around the church instead of our main parking lot, unless you need to park close for health reasons.
   
• GREET PEOPLE! If you want to "officially" be part of the greeting team, HIT REPLY and let me know, but even if not, be a friendly, helpful, smiling face to make people feel at home.
   
• MOVE OVER and allow everyone to get a seat. If you're a regular attender, help us make sure all of our guests have good seats for the service, and help people find their way around. 
   
• PRAY for God's word to be clear and understood, for hearts to be open and receptive to the gospel, and for people to meet Jesus for the first time!!

GOOD FRIDAY SERVICE

We're hosting a special Good Friday service at 7:00 pm on Friday night with music, message, and communion for families. We hope you can make it to this special time of prayer and praise.

EASTER BAPTISMS

We are BAPTIZING on Easter Sunday - after any of our three services! If you need to boldly declare your faith in Jesus by following his example and being baptized, HIT REPLY and let me know! Or if one of your kids or someone in your family needs to take this step or has questions, reply and let me know.
