Our new look was unveiled at our Sip 'n Shop event in March. We are so excited about it and have gotten some great feedback. The new logo is very happy, uplifting and Goddess-like; plus the colours are just scrumptious! Not only a new logo, but new business cards as well and a new sidewalk sign will be forthcoming. Let us know what you think.

Everyone had a grand time at our Sip 'n Shop event. There were lots of laughs and collaborating going on. People loved all the new crystals and the crystal and wine pairings. We suggested to everyone they try holding one of the crystals paired with the wine, taking a sip, then taking another sip without the crystal to see the difference. I don't think there was anyone who didn't notice a difference. It was amazing and lots of fun!! If you were unable to attend, you will want to make sure you can come to our next one.

The article below was written by one of our customers and her experience with the crystal and wine pairings.

CRYSTAL PAIRINGS
We all know that every crystal has its own properties, meaning, and vibration. Rose-quartz, for example, is a stone used in healing work because of its self-love properties. Citrine is used to manifest personal power, abundance, and joy. Crystals also have the ability to detoxify and are commonly used to detoxify water.

When crystals and water work together, they positively change your water, right down to the taste and texture. Both crystals and water have the ability to conduct intention and energy. Health is the natural state of any form within the universe. Crystals and gemstones are incredibly adept at bringing us back into a vibrational state of health and harmony.

But what about crystals and wine. Would it make a difference if you paired a particular crystal with a particular wine?

The recent wine and crystal pairing (March 28^th) proved to be very educational. I walked into the store eager to see the new crystals and was willing to try the pairings – but with a hint of scepticism.

I was pleasantly surprised.

I was instructed to hold a crystal in my hand and then take a sip of wine, then put the crystal down and take another sip. Since the crystals have their own energy, I should have noticed a difference.

My first wine was Greg Norman Estates Cabernet Merlot while holding the Garnet, eyes closed. The wine did not taste very smooth and I sensed a lot of tannin. I released the crystal, took another sip and, to my surprise, was surprised at how much smoother it tasted.

Thinking that this had to be coincidence, I tried the Pinot Grigio while holding the quartz. It was lovely – bright, fresh, fruity. Another sip without the crystal and the wine tasted sour.

I moved onto the Taylor Fladgate White Port. This proved to have the most impact on my taste buds. Paired with citrine, the port burst with subtle vanilla creaminess and trickled down my throat like velvet. Without the citrine, it lost all the creaminess and subtlety of vanilla. At that point, I was convinced. Crystal pairings with wines can make a difference. However, I did try one pairing that did not make any difference in taste.

It is definitely something I will try again and encourage others to try as well. Experiment and have fun. Remember, all things have energy, therefore it is logical that some energy is cohesive when others are not.

Price of Readings

Some of the prices for readings will be going up April 1 and May 1. The cost for the reading specials will now be $30 for 20 minutes. We only offer these at sales and special events. The cost is still less than half the price!!

Some costs for regular readings will be going up May 1 to $70 for a half hour and $100 for an hour. Call and book for a reading in April and take advantage of the price before it goes up!!
