A Celebration of Neighbors United
Tuesday, March 20th, 6:30 pm, Lincoln Park Pavilion
Thousands signed the petition and dozens of neighbors rallied at the courthouse in fighting the County’s plan to close the David Schulz Aquatic Center in Lincoln Park… and WE WON! On Tuesday, March 20th, we are going to celebrate our victory and honor those who helped win this fight. Then we’ll look to the future and ask you “What’s Next”? We’ll top it all off with ice cream and cake. We hope you’ll join the party, 6:30 Tuesday March 20th at the Blatz Pavilion.
Annual Meeting:
March 20th is also our annual meeting, so we'll take 5 minutes out to introduce and elect our board for 2018. Please support our work and click "Join Now" to start or renew your membership..
Other March Events:
BUB Workshop, Saturday, March 24th, 1pm.
This BUB's for YOU. We’ve discovered a “Better Use for Buckthorn”. Bring your own whittling knife. We’ll have plenty of buckthorn sticks available from our many Lincoln Park weedouts. Parks weed-out champion John Lunz will show us how to turn this invasive weed into a beautiful, hand crafted walking stick. Saturday March 24th, 1 pm at the Lincoln Park Blatz Pavilion.
