NZMOA is preparing to launch the first ever New Zealand Marina of the Year Awards and we invite all marinas and boatyards to participate.
This programme is currently being designed to recognize and present the inaugural New Zealand Marina of the Year Award. This and two other categories will be awarded at the NZMOA AGM in Taupo in September.
We encourage all marina operators to put forward what they have achieved to enter their facility. The judging criteria are designed to take into account size, resources, complexity of challenges and operational environment. The awards will be independently judged.
The categories are:
- Marina of the Year
- Best Environmental Initiative by a Marina
- Outstanding Contribution by an Individual to the Marina Industry
Entry packs will be ready by 17 April and submissions will close on 31 May 2018. An entry fee will be collected based on a levy of 50c per berth. We encourage all operators to enter to recognise the talent and dedication across the spectrum of our industry.
