What's the Difference Between 0.5% and 6%?
When you’re talking about fundraising, 5.5% is a BIG DIFFERENCE. That’s why we want you to use our Amazon link rather than Amazon SMILE program when you shop online. Amazon SMILE only donates 0.5% of your purchase to Lakeshore whereas purchases through our link generate a donation of 6%—all without changing your low Amazon prices.

Tell friends and family! Lakeshore gets 6% of the purchase, you get Amazon’s low prices.

Lost & Found Deadline: Friday, April 6

Lost items not found by Friday, April 6th will be sent to SCHOOLA, CHLOE'S CLOSET, or GOODWILL. Please check the rack and shelves near the Community Room to find jackets, sweaters, hoodies, shirts, lunch pails, water bottles, hats scarves, mittens, etc.

Auction Results, Sale, and Thanks
We’re going to need more than a corner to thank everyone who helped make the 2018 Auction such a success, so stay tuned for a full thank-you list to be sent home shortly.

We can share that 115 people attended the evening event which raised almost $26,000 by the end of the event that Saturday night. As of today, that number has climbed to over $29,000 which is just $1,000 away from our auction goal for the year! Great work!

We do have remaining items for sale which are open for bidding to anyone as of today through Friday, April 13. Check out the online catalog for remaining items. If you are interested in anything, go to http://bit.ly/lsa18postform and enter your contact information as well as the item number and your bid. The highest bidder on Friday, April 13 wins the item and will receive an email invoice. Exceptions will be made for Lakeshore Gatherings and summer camps as they have time-sensitive enrollment, so as soon as the reserve bid is met, they will be awarded to that bidder even if it is before April 13.

A HUGE thank you to our generous business sponsors who made cash or in-kind donations to support the event: the San Francisco International Wine Competition thanks to Jean Butler’s connection • JFQ Baskets thanks to Cynthia Quan’s stepmother • Illuminata thanks to Cynthia Quan’s business • Rainbow Grocery • Lagunitas Brewing • Speakeasy • The Posh Bagel thanks to Len Lao’s business • Smart & Final • Whole Foods • Costco • Boudin Bakery • Trader Joe’s. What fantastic community support!

We appreciate our amazing volunteers from Heart in Motion during the day and One Brick during the evening and finally, the incredible Donworth Hall location made available by Shay Ingelfinger at St. Stephen.

Thank you, again, to ALL the families who helped get ready for this huge event. It was a lot of work and there will be a bigger thank you for the Lakeshore community going home soon.

Planning for the mega-event of the Spring is underway and we need your help. Mark your calendars! Saturday, April 21 from 11am-3pm.

Our favorite games are back along with last year's hit—Rice Crispy Treat Eating Contest. And NEW this year—PLAYWORKS Game Station! We have a number of high school helpers but we need parents to help with:

  • Crock pots: The more the better. Can you lend us your crock pot for the event?
  • Shade tents: It gets hot and we need shade for some of the games and booths. Can you lend us yours?
  • Ticket sales coordinator: Supervise the volunteers with selling tickets.
  • Food table coordinator: Supervise the volunteers with prepapring and selling food.
