Announcements!

A huge THANK YOU to all who joined us to Support Women Artists NOW again in LA, with our friends at Samuel French, Theatre & Film Bookshop! Shout outs to the playwrights, directors and actors who took part in our Micro-Read Hook-Up. And thanks to Joyce, Brittny, Adam and Trevor for giving us a place to play at the Bookshop. Enjoy photos from the day!

And a special thanks to Son of Semele & Dan Via for inviting LA FPI's Jennie Webb to chat with the all-female cast of OF GOVERNMENT & director Kate Motzenbaker along with audience members about "Amplifying the Female Voice" during the show's closing weekend. “I think I’m always really interested in the line between humor and pain. I think the best comedy comes from jokes that are rooted in sadness because it’s so truthful. And I think I’m always very interested in stories that play with this.”
—Lauren Yee
