Fine Free Week
for National Library Week

To celebrate National Library Week, we’ll be waiving overdue fines for items returned between Sunday, April  8 and  Saturday, April 14. Fines will only be waived for items returned that week. Existing fines for previously returned items and other fees, like charges for lost or damaged items, do not apply.
Author Talk with Karin Tanabe

Come celebrate Asian Pacific American Heritage Month by listening to author Karin Tanabe discuss her historical novel The Diplomat's Daughter: "A Japanese-American woman and a German-American man in a World War II internment camp fall in love before one is extradited and the other enlists in the U.S. Army in the hopes that a Pacific assignment will enable their reunion, a situation that is complicated by her first love and the realities of war." Karin Tanabe is the author of four novels, including The Gilded Years, which is being adapted for film by co-producers Zendaya and Reese Witherspoon. Tick & Mosquito Management for Your Garden

2017 Tax Forms
The IRS is again distributing free print copies of the 1040, 1040A, and 1040EZ forms/instructions, which are available for the public to take (while supplies last) on the glass giveaway shelves by the Circulation Desk. Other IRS (and Virginia) tax forms and publications can be printed at $0.15/page. Please ask at the Reference Desk for more information, or visit the library’s website at www.fallschurchva.gov/TaxForms
