Songezo - SABC class of 2017

In response to John’s inquiry about who Jesus was in Matthew chapter 11, Jesus answered with the results of his ministry: deaf, hear; blind, see; lame, walk; dead, rise; and the poor hear the good news. It was the effects of his ministry that proved who he was.

A group recently went to the college with this question in mind, “what are the results of students spending 3 years at Southern Africa Bible College?” The answer we found was that people are coming to Christ and congregations are growing.

One of the many stories we heard was of Songezo, a 2017 graduate. He has been working for the Tshiawelo Church of Christ in Soweto, South Africa for 3 months. During that time the congregation has grown from 125 in attendance to over 200 and have had 17 baptisms. Songezo is respected in the community as a qualified minister because of his Bachelor’s degree in Theology and is invited to minister in schools and medical clinics. (See the video below)

The 5th Ward Church of Christ in Houston, Texas supported Songezo while in school. In the video he thanks them for their support. But as a supporter of SABC you can hear his message to them as a personal message to you as well for all you do.
