On this Arizona Gives Day let's continue to GROW  the George Brookbank Scholarship Fund

Dear Friend and Supporter,

It would be difficult to count the number of lives touched by George Brookbank.  For decades he made a mark on gardens and gardening in Southern Arizona.  In 1995, he established the Community Gardens of Tucson, a not-for-profit organization that continues to maintain neighborhood gardens all across Tucson.

The George Brookbank Scholarship Fund insures that no gardener (or family of gardeners) is turned away due to financial need.  This Arizona Gives Day we want to GROW that fund.  And, to do so we need your help.

Please consider Community Gardens of Tucson in your giving today.  Any and every donation helps, $10, $20, $50 or even $108 (a full six month scholarship) . . . whatever you can afford will keep people in need growing and harvesting healthy food.

Please make this Arizona Gives Day our best ever by clicking here and donating.  Help us keep George's dream alive.  Thank you for caring . . . and for encouraging others to support CGT as well.

What is Arizona Gives Day And Why Does It Matter?

Arizona Gives Day raises awareness of the many nonprofits that weave together to define communities throughout Arizona.  Community Gardens of Tucson is proud to be one of those "living and growing" organizations, devoted to providing gardeners a place to grow their own food, close to home, and shoulder to shoulder with their neighbors and friends.

Please, help Community Gardens continue to do what it does best:  build community from the ground up!  Donate today!

Give Today

Not just region-local, neighborhood-local.

For Community Gardens of Tucson, local is more than Arizona and even more than Tucson.  To us and to our gardeners, local is "neighborhood" --- you can find us in neighborhoods all across Tucson.  Being spread out across the city does make our work hard and complicated:  Lots of gardens.  Lots of locations.  Lots of work to maintain irrigation systems, tool sheds, and all the other things needed to make a garden work.  Your help is needed and APPRECIATED.  Please make Community Gardens of Tucson a part of your giving this Arizona Gives Day.  Every dollar goes and GROWS a long way with us!

A Sustainable Idea Made Real.

Community Gardens of Tucson has been helping people raise their own food for over two decades.  We have been at the forefront of providing a venue (a community garden) for people to get their hands dirty to put food on their plate.  It was a great idea in the 1990's and an even better one today.  Please, help keep this great work alive for gardeners all over the Old Pueblo . . . donate today!
