In this issue of our newsletter we are going to give you a little review of our new products for light + building trade fair in. For example, we would like to introduce you to our newly developed Cat.8.1 / Class I solutions. With the AMJ module Cat 8.1 and the MFP8 Cat.8.1 connector, it is now possible to transmit up to 40 Gbit / s via twisted pair cables. You will also find new developments in fiber optic connectors, an expanded portfolio of miniature distributors and coaxial cables. In addition, we inform you about current literature and in our new section on "News from the world of standards".

New networks need new categories
The trend to ever higher transmission rates is growing due to the rapidly increasing use of intelligent mobile devices.That puts more and more pressure on backbone networks and data centres to handle a literal fl ood of data. Telegärtner has been presenting its solutions for Permanent Link and Channel Class I for the first time at light + building 2018. With both cabling products,AMJ Module Cat.8.1 and MFP8 Cat.8.1, network installations according to ISO/IEC 11801-1 Class I can be carried out in order to support upcoming applications such as 25GBase-T respectively 40GBase-T.
