I hope 2018 has been a good one so far for you and your family. On December 27, we were blessed with our second child, Juliette Marie. She is now three months old and doing great! We couldn’t be happier, especially big brother Cruz. And for this reason I was not able to join the mission team to Nicaragua for the Luminares Bible camp, nor meet with our sponsored students as I normally do. However, I was sent many pictures and told that everything went wonderfully. This year we have 10 college students, 7 students in trade school, 14 in high school, and 4 elementary students.

Tax Contribution Reciept
By now you all should have received your tax contribution receipt for 2017 via email. If for some reason you have not, please let me know as soon as possible and I will get that you to.

Last year we experienced some inconvenience with Paypal in that when some of our sponsors sent donations through Paypal, they took a substantial amount for a “processing fee.” If you do use Paypal, please be sure to send it as a “gift”, that way they don’t charge us for the transaction. We are also now using Cash App that can be downloaded to any smartphone. This is another simple and easy way to send your donations and they don’t charge a fee. If you have any questions about either of these please let me know.

Last but not least, next month I’ll be sending out letters from your sponsored student(s) through email, so keep an I eye out for those.
