April 2018 Newsletter
Welcome to the PolicyBristol newsletter – a monthly showcase of the latest policy-relevant research from the University of Bristol.

It is clear that there are challenges around academic engagement with Parliament, but why is less clear. A recent nationwide survey of UK-based researchers, as part of the UK Evidence Information Service project, has revealed some of the answers.

Working hard to address some of these barriers, this month has seen us launch an inaugural Question Time event, discuss 'top tips' for working with the House of Commons Library and committees, and support early career researchers to articulate the policy relevance of their work to parliamentarians, with great success at the 2018 STEM for Britain awards.

If you are interested in the uptake of policy-relevant research, find the many ways of working with us on our website
