Staff Prayer & Praise...
Colin Leaver - Executive Director
Giving thanks for all the hard work and labour being done at the Quinte Youth Unlimited Centre. Preparing for open houses late in April and grateful for all the volunteers who have made this possible.
Ronja our International Intern heads back home to Germany on Good Friday. Praying for safe travels and for God's guidance for her future. Thankful for her time with us, her hard work with Spirit Borne, a local church and connections with our youth...who will miss her!
Please pray for funding or volunteers this summer who will fill in the place where we normally get Canada Summer Jobs students. We had applied for 3 this year. 1 for the Youth Centre in Brighton, 1 for Youth Centre in Belleville and 1 for the Performing Arts Summer Camps.
Please pray for wisdom in dealing with staff transitions and training new leaders. Rikki-Anne McNaught – Performing Arts We are so thankful for the spiritual transformation that we are seeing in the students in the high school program, Spirit Borne. However, new changes are like young seedlings. Please pray that God would protect and complete the good work He began in their lives.
The spring season is very busy for the Performing Arts branch of Quinte Youth Unlimited. Our grade 5-8 program is getting ready to go present Peter Pan in their schools and at Quinte Alliance on May 12. Our dinner theatre fundraising campaign kicks off AND we begin registration and planning for Masterpiece Summer Camps. Please pray for all the organizing of these events. Our end goals are solid connections and meaningful faith conversations with those involved. Please for those goals to be reached.
On a personal note, please pray for my son Andrew who is looking for summer employment and an apartment to live in during his 3rd and 4rth year of College.

Prayer - Praying for our upcoming meetings to go over options for the summer.
- Pray for our students who continue to struggle thru life.. We hear lots at the Beacon and try to help them best we can.
- That doors will continue to open for the volunteers to talk about the love of Christ with all Kids that come into the Beacon.
Praise
-As the weather warms up we have been seeing more kids out!
-The Beacon has been in the newspaper twice over the last month with great response.
-Someone has donated a new TV for our youth center!!
Quinte Youth Centre – Andrew MacKay Thanking God for his obvious hand in helping us renovate the Youth Centre. Rejoicing in the near completion and looking forward to our youth coming through the doors!
Please pray for volunteers, funding and wisdom for God guided events and programs.
Centre Hastings – Interm Marvin McMurray
1- Completion of Deputation for Terrell
2- 3 Bedroom House for Terrell and family to rent or buy.
3- Increase of God's kingdom here in Centre Hastings
4- Blessing and success for each student in Centre Hastings.
5- I need help finishing stong with YU
6- I need help with direction and vision.

- I have a third of the finances left to raise.

Prayer Requests: - Board Game Day on the 13th - The continued strength of our discipleship program. - Continued financial stability
Praise: - a new host home found for Hendrik - a successful Dutch Dinner Fundraiser - praying the Lord's Prayer together with students.
International – Don & Tania Craig
Please continue to pray for YFC Liberia in their work of bringing
the gospel to the adults and children of Liberia.
Also pray for the people of the doe community.
Please pray for connections with Bolivia and Ecuador for potential future ministry Quinte West – Mike Wilson
Prayer:
-A couple of our students opened up to discussion about how God works in their lives, pray that God would make Himself more evident in their lives
-Our partnership with Foundations Youth Centre, that it would be mutually beneficial and youth’s hearts would be open to hear about God
-That lots of connections would be made at the National Volunteer Fair in Trenton on April 21st
Praise:
-Seeing students in our programs open up more about their lives and being receptive to guidance from a Biblical vantage point
-Had a great time of connecting with 30 youth throughout the March Break Madness events we hosted
