Flu Update
Although the flu season is winding down, Influenza B remains prevalent. It is typical during flu season to see cases of Influenza A first, followed by rising case numbers of Influenza B. Influenza B is more severe in younger children. The CDC reports 133 pediatric deaths nationally this season. It is still recommended that all individuals 6 months and older receive a flu vaccine. It is not too late to get vaccinated!
