The Commission had varied opinions on the City's plans, notably:
- They had concerns that there wasn't enough information on when buffered and protected lanes are required.
- That the projects were taking a long time, specifically to deliver more protected bike lanes.
- One commission member stated that the number of bicycle users in Phoenix is "minuscule, even in comparison to the tiny fraction of people who use light rail", and questioned why time and money was being spent on their needs.
We will be taking steps to reach out to commission members to address and clarify these points.
The meetings are public, with the next one taking place April 26th, perhaps we'll see you there?
