We love this time of year. The daily magic as new things start to appear. No matter how long and cold the Winter maybe, new life bursts forth. Lambs skip in the fields around the tearoom, new shoots start to emerge on our tea bushes and the sock trees bloom in the Secret Garden. It's the start of our tearoom year, a time for new creative ideas. Did you know tea helps creativity? Recent tests have shown that people who drank tea were more creative, than those who drank coffee or water. Creativity has always been part of the Old Brickyard Tea Garden. Our very first event was a Medieval Banner Making Fayre in 2011. We can’t quite believe it’s our 7th Mad Hatters Tea Party. We’ve had some very special guests over the years, including our Tea Merchant, giant white rabbits, owls and a sock dragon! This year we have a magical guest - a real live little pony called Lizzy Sparkles, which, with the help of our visitors, will transform into a Unicorn!
Wishing you all a Magical Easter Teatime
Anna & Noodle xx
