Spring Newsletter – March 2018
Spring is here!

Spring has sprung and so are our gardens. There is a new and exciting addition... a fully accessible terrace that will be used as a gathering space for luncheons, chats and seminars.

Plans are well under way for 2018 Guild activities. We have already had the annual Scene Shop visit which was very well attended. Now we look forward to our annual Spring Preview Luncheon on April 9th. Chef Allison has prepared a delicious menu which celebrates the season. Then comes our main fundraiser event for the 13th year, the annual Garden Tour on June 9th. Back by popular demand, this is not to be missed! New this year is the Scene Study Sundays, giving us a peek into the production process.

We are celebrating our volunteers, as National Volunteer Week approaches on April 15-21 . This week is set aside to pay tribute to all volunteers that give of themselves to better their communities. Speaking of volunteers, we thank our greeters, hosts and docents as they gear up to assist with this season's productions. Many others in the Guild are also hard at work coordinating and organizing to ensure our community runs smoothly to support the Shaw Festival.

We are so looking forward to all of this season's productions. Playbill is proving to be very popular with ticket sales way ahead of last year. Tickets for the winter production of “A Christmas Carol” at the Royal George are now on sale so buy now to avoid disappointment.
