Happening This Week at RISE . . .

Intro to Homeschooling Class

Saturday April 14th

New to homeschooling, thinking about it, or just need some encouragement? Come to this informal gathering, ask your questions and get your concerns answered. Elissa Wahl, from Nevada Homeschool Network, will be on hand to answer all of your homeschooling questions.

This class will be held in a studio, videotaped and turned into an online class. It might require some patience as we create breaks, and restate information. Your questions about homeschooling will be VALUABLE for others!!! If you have any concerns about being captured on video, please wait until my next class, sometime in May, or feel free to schedule a personal consultation with me in office! You DO NOT need to dress up!

We regret that there is no childcare available. Well behaved children may attend, babies etc, it’s the 2-4 year old crowd that could be a problem! Please be respectful of others and remove any children who are disruptive.

Clark County Fair

Thursday April 12, 9:45am

Open to all homeschool families! Join us for a fun day at the Clark County Fair!

Kids under 5 are always free, and kids over 5 are free if they enter with our group. Parents need to buy their own tickets beforehand either online ($12) or at the door $15. Adult tickets must be in hand and your family at the gate for entrance at 9:45am. The group will enter at 10am with whoever is there. This year we will not be taking RSVPs, just show up and be on time!

Look for the RISE sign!

Entrance ticket DOES NOT include carnival or rodeo tickets. It's ONLY Fair entrance! All other tickets can be bought online or in person.

Once you enter the gate, you're on your own! Have fun!
