FINAL CALL

Deadline fast approaching, Nominate!

(Especially on the categories listed below which so far have received a limited response)

When: 11 April 2018

Message from the organisers

"The Inspire Awards has been launched off the back of our first venture, the Inspire Summit: Women in UK Construction, Engineering & Housing last Sep which was a huge success and the awards very much fill the gap left behind by the Women in Construction Awards (Manchester) which of course now no longer exist.

Unlike the Inspire Summit & WIC Awards, and responding to feedback from various key partners & supporters, we have extended the focus of awards to the wider EDI agenda. Ultimately no matter what our differences no one should be excluded from fulfilling their potential and embracing & appealing to a more diverse spectrum of people has been widely identified as a key factor in combatting the skills crisis facing the sector.

The purpose of the awards is to help inspire a more diverse and inclusive culture in the industry by celebrating those who are leading the way.

There is still time to get an entry in and we would welcome your support for the awards, especially in their inaugural year - which we feel have a strong place in the sector and serve an extremely worthwhile purpose.

You can view the categories and enter for free online at http://theinspireawards.co.uk/awards-categories/

RECENT EVENTS

The "I" in the team
with LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY®

When: 20 March 2018
Venue:
Herman Miller Ltd 61 Aldwych London

As part of our on going 2018 series of collaborations with Karen Fugle of SleepingGiant consulting, this session provided attendees an opportunity to asses their team and leaderships skills using the LEGO Serious Play methodology .

Just as it happened in the session of the committee, the findings surprised attendees and helped them understand where they are (within the teams we work with) , where they want to be and what they will needed to change to get there.

Once more the very generous team at Herman Miller hosted the event in their central London showroom, and we need to thank them. We also want to thank Karen for providing us with such a range of sessions which are proving to be a success with our members,
