Vandever Mountain, Cirque Cave, & White Chief Caves In Mineral King

This is one of the last few backlog reports from last summer.  

The goal was to climb Vandever by the 3rd class route (which was disappointing) and also visit the White Chief / Cirque caves in White Chief Bowl (which were amazing!) and along the way we had a few minor complications.

Mineral King is notorious for the threats marmots pose to vehicles at the trailhead so when I say we ended up with a vehicle dead in the water and having to be towed down the mountain you (and my Facebook feed) would probably assume marmot damage.  Aaaand you'd be wrong....
