Hi there!
I am finally back with new exciting stuff to share with you!
I have to apologize for not sending one of these newsletter in quite some time. I have been busy with non-Nymla-related work, and have not had that much to share with you, until now.
Also, hello and welcome to the new folks that signed up recently!

GDPR info

First, I want to address that I have updated my sign-up forms for this newsletter, to make it super clear what you are signing up to and how to unsubscribe - which you are always able to do at the bottom of my emails.

This is because on May 25th the new GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) comes into affect, which is a regulation in EU law on data protection and privacy for all individuals within the European Union.

Practically nothing has changed for this email list, I only use your email to send you these newsletters which you signed up to yourself, but I wanted to make you aware of this anyway!

-----------
This is what my updated sign-up form says:
Subscribe to receive monthly updates about my art, upcoming projects and events, announcements about relevant offers and sales of my artworks and products, directly from me.
And hopefully lots of inspiration!

You are of course free to unsubscribe at any time using the link in the footer of any email you receive from me, or by contacting me at mail@nymla.se. I will treat your information with respect!

I use MailChimp as my ”marketing automation platform”. By clicking below to submit this form, you agree that I may process your information in accordance with these terms, and that the information you provide will be transferred to MailChimp for processing in accordance with their Privacy Policy and Terms.

You do not have to do anything, if you want to keep getting these newsletters. I am super happy to have you here, but if you want to unsubscribe you are of course welcome to do that via the link at the bottom!

Amazing Yule Goat drawing

I am honored that Ksenia Bakhareva, aka Bonificat, wanted to draw my Yule Goat and I am so in love with this drawing!
I think all of her work is amazing, you should really check it out on Instagram!

Art Monsters of Sweden

I am honored to be a part of this group of Swedish horror/dark/goth/steampunk/lowbrow/popsurrealism artists!
The new logo and website just launched, there you can see galleries and interviews (in Swedish) with all the artists.

Excited to see this movement grow here in Sweden, have been waiting for something like this since forever.

How to frame a mask

I decided to frame this mask since I found a gorgeous frame at a thrift shop. To see more photos, and how I framed it, take a look at this public Patreon post.
I'm quite happy with it and now I want to frame every mask I make! ^^

This boar in a frame is actually now being shipped to Umeå, where he will be part of a group exhibition at Västerbottens Museum (county museum)! The opening is at June 6th.

Art VS Artist

I joined in on that #artvsartist thing over at Instagram! So much fun to see everyone elses, soo here's mine.

And I juust had to make another one with some forest photography:

Exhibitions!

My little yule goat guy and two other masks was displayed, together with a bunch of amazing artists, at Nordsken (a games and art convention) last weekend!
It was really fun, and lots of cool art to check out, I posted more photos to my Facebook, here.

Parts of the exhibition, including my pieces, was moved to another exhibition at the Skellefteå Konsthall (art gallery), open from today until May 27th.
Next thing up for me is to start working on a commission. I'm pretty excited to get started, and to share it with you! It is a little different than my usual pieces and I think it's gonna be pretty cool.

But it will have to wait a little longer, since tomorrow I am travelling to see my family and some friends in another part of the country, for a few days. So excited, because we live so far apart!

That's all from me for this time. I am so pleased to have you here and I hope you enjoy my letters! Please do hit reply if you want to comment on any of the content or have any questions.
Until next time.
I wish you all a happy spring!
